GH Wednesday, January 8 || ABC General Hospital 1-8-2025 Spoilers

General Hospital (GH) spoilers Wednesday, January 8 indicate the fallout from Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse explosion will likely take center stage. However, before we dive into all the drama, there’s an important programming notice to take note of.

GH’s Tuesday, January 7 episode has been pre-empted, so fans will have to wait a day to see what happens next.

The Monday, January 6 show kicked off the week in Port Charles with a bang, so it’s time to talk about what fans can expect on Wednesday.

General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, January 8: Michael's Tragic Outcome, Brook-Lynn’s Bad News, Portia Confesses

The GH preview video for Wednesday’s episode is the one that was leaked on X by the show last Friday, January 3, which basically shows the explosion in Sonny’s penthouse, with Michael caught on fire calling for help, as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) holds the mob boss back.

There’s a good chance that Jason will play the hero in this circumstance and save Michael to the best of his abilities; however, it does look as if Michael’s exit storyline will center around his need to head to a treatment facility for the burns he’s suffered.

Still, there’s always a chance Micheal could pass away because of this incident, so it’s hard to say at this point.

GH spoilers for Wednesday’s show also note that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be given the task of delivering bad news, so it’s likely that Sonny will reach out to his ex in hopes that she can locate Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

General Hospital - Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) (1200 x 675) - Soap Opera Spy

Of course, Willow is in Washington, D.C. with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and since he just dropped the “L” word during Monday’s show, Nina could interrupt the two doing the deed.

How will Willow feel when she finds out what’s happened to Michael? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

Across town, GH spoilers for the Wednesday, January 8 show suggest that Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) will have some news.

Knowing how bad Brook Lynn wants to have a baby with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and the fact that the two are getting tested to ensure everything is okay with this, there’s a big possibility that her news is bad news.

Meanwhile, Chase will also have a personal conversation with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).

If Brook Lynn tells Chase about their baby-making issues, will Chase tell Sasha about it?

As Sasha is expecting, will she feel a tad guilty about the couple’s roadblocks?

Isaiah on General Hospital — Everything You Need To Know | Soaps In Depth

Lastly, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will confide in Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).

Portia has a ton of secrets, so what exactly will she tell GH’s new transplant surgeon?

Then again, maybe this is about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and her fear that the ex-con who’s turned to God isn’t exactly as reformed as he goes on about.

During GH’s preview for the week of January 6-10, a clip is shown of Isaiah telling Portia that there’s someone in the hospital “killing” patients, so could this discussion lead to both Portia and Isaiah figuring out that Cyrus is behind all this?

General Hospital spoilers say that Cyrus’ hit list will increase in 2025, and after Monday’s show, both Portia and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) might be added to the criminal’s radar.

After all, Brad lashed out at Cyrus and reminded everyone of the murderer he used to be, while Portia banned him from the hospital.

The look on Cyrus’ face as the elevator door closed was chilling to say the least, so it’ll be interesting to see how he retaliates in light of all this.
