As L.A. Fires Force Soap Stars to Evacuate, Soap Stars Shares a Heartbreaking Video
If you’ve been watching the news, you’ve likely seen footage of the horrible wild fires raging through Los Angeles. Thousands have been affected by them, including soap stars — and some have been forced to evacuate their homes while others have lost theirs completely.
The Young and the Restless’ Eric Braeden (Victor) shared a disturbing video that showed just how close the fire was to his home. “Behind my house!” the CBS soap vet stated. “The worst ever in L.A.!”
And later, Braeden was forced to evacuate his home and stated, “Saying goodbye.”
Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) who, lost her home in the Woolsey and Hill Fires in 2018, shared an Instagram story with a repost to remind everyone of all of the animals that have been left homeless and urged people to put out water and such to help them. And The Bold and the Beautiful’s Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) shared a shot of the smoke coming over the hill and had to leave her home as well, as did Don Diamont (Bill).
General Hospital’s Kate Mansi (Kristina) posted an Instagram story to let her followers know that she is safe but had to evacuate her family and dog to a hotel. Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda) evacuated as well and Cameron Mathison (Drew) also shared a story about his evacuation and later posted a devastating video. “This is what’s left of our beautiful home,” Mathison stated. “Our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their own someday.”
Many others posted photos and videos in their social media stories while sending prayers to everyone affected by the fires, including Bold & Beautiful‘s supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk, who shared a shot from a window at the CBS Studios. And one former soap star went the extra mile to offer up her home to family, friends and everyone who knows her…

“I’m so sad for L.A. and pray for everyone. So many people have lost their homes. It’s bad,” stated former CBS soap fave Adrienne Frantz (ex-Amber). “100 mile hour winds through the hills.” She went on to say how her family sat there and watched out the window — it was like a scene out of a Transformers movie. “Things just blowing up over the hills nonstop. It’s devastating, so many people I know, their houses are probably gone right now. I just hope everyone is safe.”
The actress then shared a very touching message and stated, “I just want to put out there to any of my friends, family or anyone who knows me. You need a place to stay. I have room. I will put you up, I will take care of you, I will make you breakfast. Call me, we’ll be up all night.”
Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the horrific fires.
