General Hospital’s Josh Kelly Has a New Role: Here’s All We Know

Josh Kelly’s fans love to watch him each weekday bringing Cody to life on General Hospital and now they’ll be able to see the daytime fave playing a whole new character. The ABC actor will appear in a guest role on CBS’ NCIS: Origins tonight.

In the Monday, February 10, episode titled “Monsoon,” the team, with a little help from Kelly’s character, investigates the brutal murder of a veteran who fell on hard times after serving in Vietnam — and their latest case forces Frank to reflect on his own struggles following the war. Plus, look for Gibbs to mull over a new path going forward.

Watch a sneak peek scene from the upcoming episode, where Kelly’s character presents the team with some crucial evidence then states, “How’s that for inner-agency cooperation?”

For those who don’t know, Kelly has had his fair share of experience when it comes to the military. A vet himself, he served as an Army Ranger with three tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq, where he parachuted into the country. In fact, during an interview on his castmate’s podcast, Maurice Benard’s State of Mind, Kelly shared, “You can’t experience those things without being affected. You learn to deal with it. The way that I’ve dealt with everything, mostly, is humor.” He went on to express how much acting has helped him and added, “I’m really grateful that I dove into acting as soon as I got out. It’s a good excuse to feel.”
