Paul Telfer, who plays Xander on Days of Our Lives, has been happily married to actress Carmen Cusack since 2012. The multi-talented Cusack released an album called Lay Your Hands on Me in April 2023, and Telfer shared her good news on social media. Now, the actress has a new theatrical play, and her hunky hubby couldn’t help but brag about it.

The After Party Was Also Fun

Telfer posted several pics on Instagram, writing, “Had the most fantastic time at @lajollaplayhouse celebrating the opening night of THREE SUMMERS OF LINCOLN!!! The show is incredible!

Go see it now so you can brag about it when it comes to Broadway! And, I may be biased, but I was a particularly huge fan of @cusackcarmen ‘s portrayal of Mary Todd Lincoln … ; ) 🤩😍🤩. (the cocktails and jalapeño popcorn at the afterparty were big hits with us too 😋). #3SummersOfLincoln @erin_troutman.”

The first photo showed Telfer and Cusack standing in front of the Three Summers of Lincoln poster, followed by one of just Telfer next to another standee that gave information about Mary Todd Lincoln. Cusack plays the former president’s wife in the performance. The next few pics featured the loving couple being silly and enjoying themselves in the theater’s lobby.

She’s Inspiring

In February, Telfer told Soap Hub that he was headed to San Diego to be with Cusack on Valentine’s Day, noting that she was appearing in a play at the La Jolla Playhouse. Previously, in December, La Jolla shared a post with Cusack about the play’s cast on Instagram: “Announcing the cast of 3 SUMMERS OF LINCOLN! We are pleased to share that Ivan Hernandez @ivan_r_hernandez will be joining the company of 3 Summers of Lincoln as President Abraham Lincoln.

Former NYPD Blue star Sharon Lawrence happily responded with several clapping emojis. One of the show’s stars, Ivan Hernandez, reacted with, “Super excited to join this amazing cast and be back at the La Jolla Playhouse!!” And a true fan of Cusack lovingly replied, “Super excited for you @cusackcarmen 🎭 I’m so inspired by you in everyway.”
