Here’s The Moment That ‘Really Scared’ John-Paul Lavoisier On Days of our Lives

Days of our Lives stars John-Paul Lavoisier and Paul Telfer delighted fans with their video featuring two Kiriakises and one job. It showcased the DAYS bromance we never knew we needed. However, at least one part of the making of that video scared Lavoisier.

Scary Scene

Soap Opera Digest reported that Heather Smith, DAYS’ social media manager, devised the plan for the fun clip. Lavoisier (Philip) and Telfer (Xander) agreed to shoot the video, and when time allowed, they took a small amount of time to quickly film it.

““It was very fast,” the actor said. “It almost felt like we were filming on a street without a permit. ‘Okay, let’s go over here and shoot this real quick.’ Then, ‘Okay, now let’s go over there and shoot this.’ There weren’t a lot of outtakes. It was kind of a one and done thing. We had just enough time to block and for Heather to get her phone angled in a way to shoot it, because we didn’t use [additional] lights, it was all just natural lighting.”

Telfer wanted Lavoisier to get on his shoulders to straighten Victor’s portrait, and that’s where things got dicey. “When we got there, Paul told me to get up on his shoulders. I said, ‘No, I don’t want to do that.’ I don’t really have a fear of heights, but it might be a control thing,” Lavoisier revealed. “I’ve never been on somebody’s shoulders before — not since I was a baby!”

While the men ended up doing the scene, Lavoisier struggled when it was time to get down, but obviously, he eventually figured it out. His jacket wasn’t supposed to fall over Telfer’s face, but they went with it. However, don’t expect to see something like that in the future. “I don’t want to do that again in my entire life,” he said.
