Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, April 21, hint that Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) vanishing act will be investigated while Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) hides evidence.

Sarah Horton Kiriakis’ (Linsey Godfrey) guilt will also worsen, so there’ll be a lot happening on Days.

Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) just returned home, but Rafe lied about scrolling through the doom instead of spilling what he was actually up to.

Since Rafe took back the bug he planted from the crime scene, he was really about to listen to the recording.

After Gabi vents about JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) throwing shooter accusations around, Rafe should be even more eager to hear what happened that night.

However, Rafe may choose to keep hiding any proof on the recording – especially if there’s anything on it that might point the finger at Gabi or someone else he cares about.

Regardless, Rafe may ultimately open up to Gabi about his romantic dilemma as well now that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is furious over his Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) bedroom session.

Over with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) on Monday’s DOOL episode, he’ll continue to deal with some fury of his own now that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) has given him updates on the forged letter.

Xander ultimately blew up at Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), who offered a heartfelt apology and kept quiet about Sarah knowing the truth.

Now that Xander has kicked Philip out of the house, Days spoilers say he’ll continue to rage over his brother’s betrayal.

Since Sarah is getting off scot-free, that’ll make the guilt she’s already been dealing with even worse!

There’ll inevitably be some moments when Sarah is tempted to spill what she knew and how long she knew it, but she’ll keep quiet for the time being.

At some point, Days spoilers say Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will also hear about Philip’s exposure and Xander’s wrath.

Since Philip left their names out of it too, Stephanie and Alex should be relieved about that.

Even so, Alex might wrestle with a little guilt of his own since he chose to protect the secret instead of coming clean.

Over with JJ and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), they’ll continue to investigate the discarded gun situation.

Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) insisted she loaned the weapon to Ava, so Shawn and JJ plan to question Ava to see if the story checks out.

Of course, that should lead to the discovery that Ava left town right after EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting.

Shawn and JJ may suspect that Ava shot EJ, got rid of the gun and fled Salem as a result.
