General Hospital (GH) update for Monday, January 13 reveal some explosive moments as Port Charles kicks off another week. So, what should fans expect during Monday’s show? Most everyone is reeling from the close of the Friday, January 10 show.
After all, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) creeping into Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) room and injecting digitalis into his IV bag seems to suggest that this could be the end of the line for Michael, and as fans know the character is set to exit soon, will this be how he goes out?
Maybe … but maybe not!
GH spoilers suggest that Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) will somehow be alerted to what’s happening in Michael’s room and his instincts will kick in.
The preview video for Monday shows a clip between Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Isaiah while in Michael’s room as Lucas states, “What if we get it wrong,” and Isaiah replies, “Michael will die either way.”
Is there a way that Isaiah and Lucas can save Michael before it’s too late?
Meanwhile, there might be no saving Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) from Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) wrath.
After all, Willow’s move of dangling the medical proxy for Michael’s care in an attempt to use it as a bargaining chip to regain custody of Wiley Corinthos (Vern Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) might have been a terrible move on Willow’s part.
GH spoilers for Monday’s show reveal that Carly will warn Willow that she doesn’t want to go down this road, but Willow seems determined to not allow Carly to intimidate her.
Will Willow come to regret what she’s done?
Meanwhile, it looks like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will attempt to work together to come to a happy medium.
During the GH preview, Nina tells Sonny not “… to waste precious time on this fight.”
Can these two look past all the drama and work together for the sake of Michael’s health and his children’s best interests?
Across town, there are some sweeter GH spoilers to take note of, as Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) share a special moment.
Does this mean the two share a kiss? GH fans will have to tune in to find out!
Meanwhile, fans will also see Laura Collins (Genie Francis) interact with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), and it looks like Lulu will still be sour about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) following her to Prague.
Lulu feels like he’s the reason that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) didn’t return home with her; however, during the GH preview, her mom straight-up tells her that Dante did the right thing by following her. Will Lulu listen to her mom’s reasoning?
Lastly, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will offer Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) some advice about investment options.
Is he thinking about investing that $50,000 Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) tossed his way some months ago to keep him quiet about the Willow kiss?
Regardless, during the GH preview video for Monday, Tracy outright tells Cody that the investment option he is considering will have him going broke.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that fans haven’t seen or heard much from Cody as of late, so perhaps this investment is part of a new storyline that could catapult him back into the spotlight.
Then again, maybe it’ll also be something that brings him closer to Lulu’s orbit for a possible romance.
