General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has some big obstacles working against him at this point. Although Cyrus managed to squeeze in one more digitalis victim when he went after Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), suspicions are growing about Cyrus being the man behind the string of GH demises.

That’s going to make it harder for Cyrus to carry out what he feels is “the Lord’s work.”

Cyrus may ultimately find it more difficult to sneak around and get these digitalis injections done, so perhaps he’ll turn to a secret ally for help.

Of course, it’s possible Cyrus already has an accomplice or two working at the hospital.

Although fans have only seen Cyrus administering the digitalis doses so far, he might have some like-minded followers who are willing to do his bidding.

Even if Cyrus doesn’t have hospital employees in his corner just yet, that could change soon enough.

There’s no way Cyrus will suddenly stop his criminal behavior, but he might recruit some help to avoid getting caught.

Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has grown suspicious of Cyrus, but he might be fooled when someone new walks into his life.

After Brad and Lucas’ potential reunion gets derailed, it’ll “leave Lucas vulnerable to the advances of a handsome and mysterious stranger.”

“Vulnerable” is an intriguing word to use since it makes it sound like this guy could be up to no good!

Throw in the “mysterious stranger” part and that makes him seem even more suspicious.

Could Lucas find a new boyfriend who turns out to be Cyrus’ ally?

Lucas could easily fall for a charming new hospital employee – one who leaves Brad on edge and ready to investigate.

Whatever the case, Cyrus might rely on someone else to do his dirty work for a while now that he’s landing on the hot seat.

It’ll be interesting to see whether this new stranger in Lucas’ life might have a Cyrus connection.
