General Hospitalâs Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) has her hands fullânot just with her role in Port Charles, but also with her newest family member, an adorable rescue pup from the Animal Saints Rescue Society in Massachusetts.
We all know that raising a puppy is like having a baby, requiring constant attention, feeding, potty training, and, of course, endless cuddles!
Hennesy shared that she initially named him Earnest but later changed it to Bela Lugosi after he bit her twice on their first day together.
Fortunately, he has since mellowed. Preparing for their early-morning journey home, she joked about using ground beef and a hidden Trazodone tablet to get him into the carrier.
Despite the challenges, she called him âa gem of a boyâ and expressed gratitude to Ivy Abitz for introducing them.
Reflecting on her late pets, Hennesy firmly believes that Sophie Tucker, Spanky Jean, and especially Arbuckle sent Bela to her from afar, proving their love still endures.
On their travel day, she shared an update from Boston Logan Airport, revealing they had a “big fight” over getting into the carrier but were finally on their way home.
Now, she and her âBeloved Berkshire Theater Dogâ are ready for new adventures.
