General Hospital Preview: Brook Lynn’s Secret Baby Drama Leaves Chase ‘Furious’
Funny thing about the past: It never stays in the past! And right now, General Hospital is using a chapter of Brook Lynn’s history to fuel future story in a decidedly explosive way.
Chase’s bride knows that she’s going to have to tell him that, way back when, she had a baby and gave it away. But doing so is going to set off tremendous aftershocks.
Once he finds out, “he’s rightly furious,” headwriters Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten tell Soap Opera Digest. “Not at Brook Lynn, but at the situation.”
It pains Chase to no end to imagine the pain that she endured — and is still enduring, especially in light of the fact that the two of them may not be able to conceive a child.
But as deeply in love as the newlyweds are, there’s no doubt that they could weather the storm.
That is, they could if the whole truth didn’t come out — including the part that even Brook Lynn doesn’t know: that Gio is her and Dante’s son.
How could anyone discover Lois’ long-held secret, though?
One word: Lulu. The scribes suggest that if she caught wind of the fact that Dante had a kid that was kept from him, she’d move heaven and earth to right that wrong, and to hell with the consequences.
