General Hospital Spoilers: Producers Looking To Recast Drew Quartermaine?
Let’s just say they are not loving it. More and more General Hospital fans are making it pretty clear that they are none too pleased with how Cameron Mathison has taken on the role of Drew Quartermaine, even though he’s been on the canvas for several years now.
General Hospital Spoilers: Producers Looking To Recast Drew Quartermaine?
And that’s not just because of the current storyline, but mostly because how Cameron has been handling the role altogether. Some critics think that he’s not coming off as the anti-hero that he’s supposed to be and that’s becomer a problem.
Needless to say, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. That’s because they haven’t been feeling Cameron Mathinson in the role for quite some time.
Some took to social media to comment with, “They should have just brought him in as his All My Children character of Ryan Lavery and have Ryan cross over to Port Charles from Pine Valley.”
“Could have had Ryan jump in at Crimson or even had Ryan come in at The Invader. Making him Ryan would have made much more sense.”
Another critic wrote, “Definitely a big mistake. He’s so smarmy I will not ever be able to watch him in any other shows, including Hallmark et al. I really didn’t love him in Pine Valley either…. And no, it’s not because of Jason or Billy Miller. I just don’t like him.”

And then there was this comment as well: “The mere concept of Drew Cain, Jason’s surprise twin brother, was and still is silly.”
“The secret itself, plus the idea of memory mapping… give me a damn break. It was a desperate plan B which was only fallen back upon because Steve Burton chose to take the Jason character back and an explanation had to be given for this other Jake/Jason.”
So far producers for General Hospital have not made any comments about the speculation.
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next.
