General Hospital’s Eva LaRue Confirms One Character’s Identity and (Finally!) Another’s Return

How’s about when it’s so full of spoilers that it could pass for our General Hospital preview section?
On March 16, Eva LaRue dropped a photo of herself with Jacqueline Grace Lopez (ex-Blaze) and Adrian Achondo (Marco) at the studio.
“Mi General Hospital familia,” the All My Children vet captioned the pic, adding the hashtag #mykids.
So in one fell swoop, LaRue confirmed that Lucas’ new love interest is Natalia’s son and that daughter Blaze is about to return. (And it’s about damn time, too.)
That Marco would turn out to be Natalia and Sidwell’s son isn’t that big a surprise; we knew that Blaze had a brother but not that he was gay.
Maybe the family reunion will kickstart the redemption storyline that Natalia has desperately needed since she showed up in Port Charles spouting homophobia after keeping poor Blaze closeted her entire — and maybe Marco, too. We can but hope.
A comeback for Kristina’s lost love is a shock, though. Even Lopez was taken aback to be written off in August of 2024.
“This goodbye hurts,” she said at the time, “I think because I didn’t see it coming. That, and when you spend almost two years with this group, you start to feel like part of the fabric” of the show.

In response to LaRue’s post, Lopez exclaimed, “Mama! OMG, this fills my heart with so much love. Love you forever.
“And welcome to General Hospital,” she added to her new on-screen sibling. “Te vas a brillar!”
