General Hospital Spoilers: The Truth Behind Drew’s Accusations Against Nina’s Jealousy!

General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that following the recent confrontation between Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), we simply have to ask this obvious question.

Is Drew justified in believing that Nina is envious and jealous over him, or is he merely an egotistical delusionist, being in love with himself and taking it out on everyone else?

Drew Accused Nina Of Being Jealous Over Him

In the March 24 episode of GH, Drew made a shocking accusation after discovering Nina had broken into his safe.

Nina defended her actions by claiming she was merely trying to safeguard her daughter and warned that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) might lose her children if she moved in.

In response, Drew challenged Nina, suggesting she was using Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) as a smokescreen for her true intentions.

He implied that Nina desired him exclusively, and if she couldn’t have him, then she wouldn’t allow anyone else to, particularly Willow. Nina countered that Drew was mistaken if he believed she had any romantic feelings for him; so, who is truly in the right in this tangled scenario?

We Side With Nina In This Case

We find ourselves aligning with Nina in this situation, as her disdain for Drew has become quite evident. The affection she once had for him has vanished, leaving only a deep-seated animosity in its place.

While Drew might have intended to provoke Nina with his remark, there’s a strong possibility he genuinely believes it.

He may be so self-absorbed that he thinks Nina is envious and attempting to undermine his relationship with Willow. With each scene, Drew seems to grow increasingly unbearable, displaying an arrogance that makes him seem disconnected from reality.

Drew Acts Like He’s Invincible

Drew behaves as if he is the ruler of everything, expecting everyone to comply with his desires. Nina has presented strong arguments against Willow moving in with Drew, as it could provoke issues in the ongoing custody battle.

There are valid reasons to be concerned about Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) response and the potential conflict it may cause.

Additionally, Willow is still married to Michael and should not rush into living with the man she cheated on him with. Drew is pressuring Willow and attributing Nina’s concerns to jealousy, despite Nina having legitimate reasons to worry.

Drew’s Main Problem Is His Hugely Inflated Ego Coupled With A Large Dose Of Selfishness

Essentially, Drew’s inflated sense of self seems to be the main issue, rather than any jealousy that he claims Nina has. Drew has become the opposite of the caring hero who first showed up in Port Charles with amnesia and was mistakenly thought to be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Drew has changed so much that there are suspicions a switch took place while he was incarcerated in Pentonville, and he’s not really Drew at all! As for Nina, upcoming spoilers indicate that Nina will continue to fight for Willow’s custody rights, so stay tuned for any exciting updates.
