General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, April 4, reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will beg Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to wake up while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) makes a plea to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also make a vow to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), so here’s what GH fans can expect.
For starters, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will continue their latest confrontation, but Drew will warn Curtis to leave Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) out of it.
However, Curtis can tell that Kai is becoming important to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) – and anyone who’s important to Trina is important to Curtis, too!
Speaking of Trina, she’ll seem skeptical over Drew’s offer for Kai and may worry that he’s getting his hopes up about this cutting-edge surgery.
Kai will probably assure Trina that he’s being cautiously optimistic and wonder if she’ll approve if Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) research confirms everything is legit.
There’s no denying that this procedure could change Kai’s life if it allows him to play football again and get his career back on track. Even so, Trina may warn Kai that it all seems a little too good to be true – especially since shady Drew is involved.
At some point, Trina and Kai will face a surprise interruption. It’s possible Drew will call hoping for updates on Kai’s decision – or maybe someone else will derail their discussion instead.
At GH, Ava will visit Ric in his hospital room and beg him to please wake up. Will Ric grant Ava’s request by opening his eyes and coming back to her?
Regardless, Ava will get some stunning news on Friday’s episode. That could involve the fact that Ric’s brakes were cut, so the wheels may start turning since Ric was parked in Ava’s space.
Ava might suspect Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was trying to sabotage her car and got Ric’s by mistake – which is exactly what happened! This could give Ava some blackmail material depending on what she decides to do next.
Over with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), he’ll visit Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) again as well. Since Liz has a broken leg, she’ll admit this recovery is going to be more difficult than she thought.
However, Lucky may promise to take care of Elizabeth and do whatever it takes to help her while she heals.
Next, Carly will deliver an emotional plea to Jason and ask him to trust her judgment when she says Jack is not a threat to her. Jason may not see how that can possibly be true considering everything that just went down with the polonium poisoning.
Even so, Carly and Jason will manage to sort out their differences somewhat, so Jason may agree to tolerate her romance with Brennan – at least until something dangerous inevitably happens again.
As for Josslyn, she just ratted Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) out for making a suspicious drop-off, so Brennan will push for more details. Once Josslyn spills exactly what she saw, Brennan will ask whether she’ll stand by her version of events.
Josslyn may swear that she’s telling the truth and vow to tell anyone else who needs to be told. Brennan should be pleased with Josslyn’s WSB loyalty – and that’s when he may reveal that this was all part of her final test.
This certainly feels like one last setup to give Josslyn a chance to use her observation skills and prove her WSB devotion.
