The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, April 14 | Y&R 4/14/2025 Spoilers
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, April 14, reveals that Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will announce that she’s leaving GC while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) suspects Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might be gearing up for a reunion trip.
At Crimson Lights, Nick will give Victoria updates on his imminent London trip with Sharon, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) since they’re all going to visit Noah Newman (Rory Gibson).
Victoria will feel like Nick needs a break from Sharon and all her drama, but Nick will defend her since the horror she endured wasn’t her fault.
Even so, Victoria will basically complain about Nick constantly being on call for rescues when it comes to his exes.
After Victoria quizzes Nick about the trip and wonders whether he might reunite with Sharon, Nick will act like he’s fine being single right now.
However, Victoria will eventually suggest that maybe Sharon and Nick are destined to be together. If that’s true, Victoria will think this trip could offer a break from all the distractions.
Regardless, Victoria will want Nick to promise her that he’s not getting back together with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)!
Speaking of Phyllis, she’ll meet up with Sharon at Society and learn the London trip is back on. Sharon and Phyllis will be waiting for Traci, who’ll ultimately show up to talk to them about Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins).
Phyllis will briefly worry that Martin is getting away with his crimes, but Traci will insist Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) assured her that the case against him was solid.
What Traci will really want to talk about is how sorry she is for unleashing Martin on all their lives.
Phyllis will get rather pushy with questions about when Traci realized “Alan Laurent” was actually Martin, but Sharon will rein her in and make it clear that they don’t blame Traci.
After Traci gets emotional over how naïve she was and all her regrets, Phyllis will soften and see that Sharon had the right approach.
In the end, Traci will clasp hands with Sharon and Phyllis as they all hope to move on in time.
After Traci exits, Phyllis will joke around with Sharon about the London trip before they share an awkward hug.
Once Sharon leaves as well, Phyllis will speak with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) over the phone and assure him that she’s fine.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis will text Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to let him know she’s ready to roll at Abbott Communications – though she’ll still look rather rattled by her ordeal.
As they prepare to head to the airport, Sharon will join Nick and play up how this trip will be good for them as a family.
At the GCAC, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will gripe to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about being left in the dark on “Alan” actually being Martin.
Jack’s efforts to protect Diane could’ve put her in more danger, so she won’t be happy that he didn’t trust her with the truth.
After Jack apologizes for upsetting Diane, she’ll get teary and open up about still feeling like an outsider in the Abbott clan.
Diane will eventually ask Jack to forget she said anything since his focus needs to be on Traci and all the other family drama, but he’ll be glad she confided in him.
Once Traci appears, she’ll be sorry for shutting Diane out when she knew something was wrong. Traci will also announce that she’s made a big decision and that she’s leaving Genoa City – at least for a while.
Although Traci will want to lose herself in writing a new book and will plan to head to New York with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), she’ll vow to come back and see the Abbott mansion renovations.
Jack will make a prediction about always being there for Traci and will assure her that Diane will be there as well.
Despite all the other doubts Traci’s been dealing with, she certainly won’t doubt that and will embrace Jack.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Traci will have to figure out what her future looks like without “Alan,” so stay tuned for more news on her next chapter.
