The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of April 14-18 reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) may have a chance with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) after all.
Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will also scheme while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) gets caught off guard, so here’s what fans can expect.
For starters, Diane will scold Jack for leaving her out of the loop on “Alan Laurent” actually being Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins). It’ll add to the overall feeling of Diane being an outsider in the Abbott family, but Jack will hope to make his wife feel more included.
Y&R spoilers say Diane will play a big role in the next phase of Jack and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) feud.
After Jack and Kyle uncover some Jabot drama connected to Victor’s spies, they’ll take action with Diane’s help.
Jack and Diane will have a strategy session, so it won’t be long until Diane puts their new plan in motion.
It looks like Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will land at the center of that plan since Diane will approach him and perhaps pump him for information.
Diane will try to use her friendship with Michael to Jack’s advantage, but Michael usually knows better than to go against Victor!
Although Michael’s going to land in a tight spot, he may have to stay on “Team Victor” in the end.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will try to play peacemaker as the Newman-Abbott rivalry gets worse, but Victor will refuse to back down.
In fact, Victor will have some new tricks up his sleeve when it comes to targeting the Abbotts.
That’ll include Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) since Victor will have a trap in mind for him.
After Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) tries to build some trust with Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) and convince him to open up, she’ll run into more hurdles.
Damian will put a stipulation on the truth that could frustrate Lily and send her to Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) for help.
As for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll do something daring as part of her mission for Victor.
Kyle will be caught off guard by whatever Audra has in store, so she may make some predictions about using his attention to her advantage.
While Audra works to ruin Kyle and Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) romance, she’ll lie to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and back herself into a corner she may not be able to get out of.
Meanwhile, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will take a New York trip together, so it should be good for Traci to get away for a while after all the Martin mayhem.
Speaking of trips, Nick’s London getaway with Sharon, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), and Christian Newman (last played by Alex Wilson) will move full-speed ahead.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will fish for answers about Nick’s feelings for Sharon and will hint that maybe destiny could bring them back together on this vacation.
